Firetree is a British craft chocolate maker, celebrated for its award-winning, bean-to-bar creations. We specialise in chocolate made with rare, single-estate cocoa grown on volcanic islands in the Pacific Ring of Fire - a landscape as dramatic as the flavours it produces. Every bar is crafted in our own facility in Cambridgeshire where each stage, from roasting to conching and tempering, is expertly managed to preserve the integrity of our exceptional cocoa beans. The result is chocolate with depth, character, and a true sense of place. Our range spans both dark and milk chocolate, each with its own taste notes reflecting the terroir of their origins: from the Solomon Islands to Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Madagascar, the Philippines and the Dominican Republic. Expect notes of citrus, honey, treacle, plum, dates, raspberry or cherry flavours shaped by volcanic soils and revealed through our meticulous craft. Founded in 2017 by lifelong chocolate specialists David Zulman and Martyn ODare, Firetree exists to elevate chocolate into an experience of exploration: rare beans, ethical sourcing directly from our cocoa farmers, complex taste. Even the name comes from the flame-coloured pods of the cocoa tree a reminder of the volcanic landscapes from which our chocolate begins.
